Allow customers to select quantities on your bookable services for online booking

You can now configure your bookable services to allow your customers to select a quantity and set limits on the minimum and maximum quantities you will accept. The duration and price you set for these services will apply to a single quantity; this will ensure more accurate price estimations and appointment durations during the booking process. There are also more service duration options available with this update.

View and manage unscheduled work on the go

It's now easier than ever to take care of unscheduled work while on the go. In the Jobber mobile app, you can now view and manage your unscheduled visits, assessments, and tasks on the map.

Unscheduled appointments can be easily identified by their unique icon. To schedule them, simply tap on the icon to open the visit details.

Team members with scheduling permissions can assign or reassign work to other team members who are closer to the client’s property.

Schedule nearby appointments together so your team can get more done while minimizing their drive time. By knowing where your unscheduled appointments are, you and your team can pick up nearby work more quickly.

View online booking and job costing data in the one-off jobs report

Along with the launch of online booking and job costing, we’ve also updated the one-off jobs report (beta) to provide you with even more insights into your job performance.

Online booking

A new column has been added to show if the job was booked online so you can quickly compare details and see how your booked jobs are performing.

Job costing

Analyzing your job profitability for a range of jobs has been made even easier. At the bottom of the report, you can now see:

  • average profitability
  • total profit
  • total labor hours
  • total labor costs
  • total line item costs
  • total expense costs
  • total costs

With this new information on the report, you can spend less time on calculations and spreadsheets and more time making decisions that increase your efficiency and profitability.


Online booking is available on Connect and Grow plans.

Job costing is available on the Grow plan.

Be confident that every job is profitable with job costing

As a home service business owner, understanding if a job is profitable is a lot of work. With so much to do, it can be difficult to tell if you’re making money on a job.

Job costing lets you see profitability for one-off jobs without spending hours switching between spreadsheets, receipts, and bank statements.

See real-time job profitability

On your one-off job pages, you can now see a profit bar that automatically calculates your profitability based on your total price and total costs tracked for the job. This number updates automatically as you add and change costs so you can always stay on top of your margins.


Track all your costs in the same place you manage your job

Add material costs spent on the job by selecting line items from your Products and Services or by adding new line items as needed.

Automatically calculate labor costs with timesheets by setting a default labor rate for each of your employees. You can also enter time and labor costs manually.

Record expenses from anywhere to keep track of any additional costs. Upload accompanying receipts for more accuracy and easy reimbursement.


Improve pricing and cost estimates

The updated one-off jobs report lets you easily compare details for multiple jobs—price, costs, profits, custom fields, and more—so you can improve pricing and cost estimate accuracy for future jobs.


Job costing is available on the Grow plan.

Control your bookable hours with team member availability for online booking

You can now set specific booking availability for team members that are different from your business hours. This will allow you to better control when bookings can be made based on who is available and will ensure accurate and efficient assignments. This is especially helpful for businesses with team members who operate on different schedules throughout the week.

Save time on scheduling with online booking

Getting customers booked in your calendar is no easy task—especially considering all the back and forth communications it can take.

With Jobber’s new online booking feature, you can streamline your scheduling by letting leads and customers book an appointment with you online. You'll remain in control of your calendar while Jobber automatically schedules the job for you; no phone tag necessary.

Here's how it works

1️⃣ SET YOUR BOOKABLE SERVICES

Decide which of your services are right for online booking and add those to your bookable services. You can select from your existing product and services list or create a new service. Customers will see the name, description, duration, and estimated price you set so be clear and descriptive.

2️⃣ SET YOUR BOOKING AVAILABILITY

Decide which team members can be assigned to bookings and set them as your bookable team members. The dates and times customers can choose from will depend on their calendars. You can also set preferences for earliest availability and buffer times between bookings.

3️⃣ SET YOUR REVIEW & CONFIRM PAGE

Before customers complete their booking, they must review and confirm their details. Here you can include any messages you'd like your customer to see as well as a link to any terms and conditions that may apply to the booking.

That's it! You are ready to set your booking page live and let the bookings roll in.

Introducing the redesigned one-off jobs report (beta)

With new filtering options and more data columns, the one-off jobs report has been redesigned to help you save time and find the information you need faster.

Using the new filters, quickly find jobs that have scheduled visits within a specified date range, jobs that were closed within a specified date range, or jobs that have one or more unscheduled visits.

The new report also includes over ten new fields, including line items, custom fields, billing address, service address, and more. See invoices and quotes related to the job and open them with a single click. Plus, customize your report and select which columns to display, or export your data as a CSV file.

See the redesigned one-off job reports in Jobber Online by going to Reports > Work Reports and selecting One-off job reports BETA. This will remain in beta while we continue to make improvements; until then, the old report (Legacy) will remain available for use.

Never miss a lead with Requests

You can now let leads and customers request work through your website or social media.

Customize your request form to capture all the information you need from the customer to begin with quoting or scheduling the job. Customers can submit their request through your website, social media, or in client hub at any time. You’ll receive a notification as soon as a new request comes in, to action it.

Connect additional apps to help grow your business

Google Local services ad integration (US only) connects you to customers with less effort. When customers find you through Google, with the Jobber integration, customers will also see an option to schedule an available time in your Jobber calendar.

Thumbtack (US only) is a marketplace for finding local professionals. Integrate Jobber with Thumbtack to spend less time looking for work and let Thumbtack match you with the jobs you want.

Get more done on the go 📱

Locate your appointments in the app

The new map view in the mobile app makes it easier to locate all your appointments while on the go. Quickly access job details and navigate to your next visit with just a tap. Managing a team? View their appointments on the map and keep track of their progress throughout the day.

More offline functionality

We know how important it is to have access to Jobber even when you’re in poor service areas. In addition to being able to access your latest visit details from when you were last online, you can now create and save text notes when your device is offline. The mobile app will store your notes locally and sync them when you're back online.

Select multiple line items at once

Creating or editing quotes, jobs, and invoices in the mobile app is faster than ever. You can now select multiple line items from your products and services list and each line item will appear in the order that you selected them. If you need to edit something, simply tap on the line item to edit any of the details.


Level up customer convenience ⭐️

Share arrival windows to set clear expectations

Communicate arrival windows instead of a fixed start time to let your clients know when to expect you and add more flexibility to your day. Whenever you create or edit a job, you can now set an arrival window that will be included in client hub, booking confirmations, and visit reminders.

Help your clients reach the right person, every time

When sending an "on my way" text, you or your team can include a callback number so your clients can contact their assigned service pro directly. No more playing phone tag with your team!


Easier employee account setup ✅

We’ve updated the invitation that your team receives to join Jobber so it’s easier for them to independently set up their account and get up and running. From the invitation, all they have to do is download the app, open it, and enter a password to complete their profile.
